In short: a full-wrap cover is the single print file containing the back cover, spine and front cover. We size it from your final page count, paper type, trim size and printer so it passes file checks.

How long it takes

Your written quote gives a confirmed delivery date. The time needed depends on whether the front cover already exists and whether paperback and hardcover versions are both needed, and on how quickly feedback comes back between rounds.

Where packages are shown on this page, they are our standard prices. Prices depend on the formats you need (ebook, paperback, hardcover), custom illustration and premium stock images. For a standard package you can request an invoice: we confirm the scope first, then email the invoice, and nothing is charged online. For anything else, request a free quote that lists exactly what's included before you commit.

Questions

Why do you need my final page count?

The spine width depends on the number of pages and the paper. If the page count changes, the cover file has to be resized.

Can a thin book have text on the spine?

Amazon KDP only allows spine text on paperbacks with more than 79 pages (80 if you use Cover Creator). Thinner books need a plain spine.

Is a hardcover cover different?

Yes. A hardcover case-laminate cover wraps around the board, so the artwork extends further past the trim (for KDP hardcovers, 0.51 in / 15 mm), with a different template.
