About us

Your vision deserves a team that understands it.

Creating a book is a personal investment. You want the people working on it to understand your message, respect your voice and care about how the finished work represents you.

At Inkswell Wright, we bring writing, editing, design, publishing support and author marketing together to help you move from an idea to a book you feel proud to share.

Who we are

We are a creative team supporting independent authors, professionals and creators at different stages of their publishing journey.

Some clients come to us with a manuscript ready for refinement. Others bring research, experiences, unfinished drafts or an idea they have carried for years. We begin by understanding what they want to create, who it is for and where they need support.

Our work spans fiction, nonfiction, faith-based books, children’s books, cookbooks, journals and workbooks. Each project calls for its own approach. We shape our recommendations around its purpose, its readers and the person behind it.

Why we do this

Authors deserve a clear path through a process with many moving parts.

Writing decisions affect editing. Editing affects layout. Cover design influences how a book is presented, while publishing choices determine the files and materials it needs.

We bring these decisions into one coordinated conversation. Our purpose is to help you understand your options, make informed choices and develop a consistent direction for your work.

Thoughtful work, from the first conversation

  1. Step 1: We listen and establish the direction.

We ask about your goals, audience, priorities and existing materials. Together, we identify the support that will be useful and agree on the scope, deliverables and expectations.

  2. Step 2: We develop the work with you.

Whether we are shaping a manuscript, refining its language or designing its presentation, your vision guides the process. We explain recommendations and invite feedback at agreed milestones.

  3. Step 3: We prepare you for the next step.

We review the agreed deliverables and explain the handover. You should understand what you are receiving, what it is intended for and which steps remain in your publishing plan.

What you can expect from us

  • Respect for your voice.

Your book should feel like yours. We work to strengthen its clarity, structure and presentation while preserving the character of your message.

  • Clear communication.

You should know what is included, what we need from you and what happens next. We welcome questions and explain decisions in language you can understand.

  • Attention to the reader.

We consider how your audience will experience the work—from the first impression of the cover to the organisation and readability of the pages.

  • Honest guidance.

We recommend services around your project’s needs and set realistic expectations. Our commitment is to thoughtful work and a clear process, without promises of guaranteed sales or rankings.

  • Care for your materials.

We treat manuscripts and project information with care. Confidentiality, ownership, licensing and permissions are addressed in the project agreement.

Support that grows with your ambitions

You may need one service today and a broader creative partnership tomorrow.

Our support includes ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, cover design, ebook and print formatting, and publishing preparation. It can also extend to companion workbooks, author websites, Amazon A+ Content, promotional graphics and book trailers.

Beyond books, we help businesses and creators present their expertise through course materials, presentations, websites and promotional content.

Our vision is to build lasting relationships with the people we support. As your work develops into another title, a series or a wider platform, we want to be a team you can return to with confidence.
