Our approach
The scene is a snow-covered forest beneath a full moon and mountains. A wolf, half black and half white with one blue and one red eye, steps out of the trees; an owl with matching blue and red eyes watches from a branch above. A cloaked woman looks back over her shoulder beside a hooded child carrying a lantern, with a warmly lit log cabin behind them.
Warm lantern and window light stands out against the cold blues of the night. The title is set in ornate, gold-outlined capitals framed by filigree rules, with “Part 1: Homecoming” beneath it and the author name in spaced capitals at the foot of the cover.
