Our approach
The illustration centres on a girl with long, curly hair and a hooded cloak, holding a glowing golden crown. Behind her rise a castle silhouette and a large clock face with Roman numerals, while ribbons of blue and gold light and shards of crystal swirl around the scene.
The title is lettered in gold serif capitals with a small crown set inside the “O” of “Crown”, and gold compass-star ornaments frame the name at the foot of the cover. The starry blue pattern and gold type continue onto the spine, shown here in a hardcover mockup.
