Our approach
The cover keeps to black, white and grey, with roses, lilies and thorny stems framing the edges. A small gold dragon at the top and drips of gold on the frame are the only colour, so they stand out immediately.
The title is stacked in elegant serif capitals with decorative initials, followed by the series line and the author name in spaced capitals.
